Overview

Resilux is a $500MM polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle manufacturer founded in 1994 and headquartered in Wetteren,
Belgium. Resilux produces preforms made of recycled materials designed for beverages, food, and other custom solutions.

Challenge

Resilux was facing several challenges with their shipping operations. They were utilizing multiple third-party logistics
(3PL) companies for their intermodal and truckload shipping, which resulted in fluctuating rates and a total freight spend of $2.2 million. They also had no support team to manage their freight, creating variations in service levels based on capacity as well as variations in available capacity with seasonality.

Solution
